The VP, Clinical Services will be responsible for establishing and implementing the clinical standards for providing autism services and will lead the effort to seek new, innovative and effective ways to provide enhanced treatment methods and processes. Reports to the CEO and works with the management team to ensure effective delivery and integration of behavioral health services and attainment of goals for the organization. The VP, Clinical Services will have accountability for the clinical effectiveness and overall quality of the organizations Clinical Services.

Job Description
VP Clinical Services shall have primary responsibilities for the following functions:
•    In collaboration with the VP, Network Development, works directly with management to ensure that the autism network meets all ABA requirements and has adequate providers to meet population needs.
•    Assistance with the selection and supervision of Regional Clinical Directors and Clinical Program Managers, including performance evaluations and quality assurance.
•    Facilitates signing up Healthplans, EAP’s, IPAs, and developing provider network
•    Broad understanding of the healthcare industry at the national, regional, state and local levels
•    Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations in dynamic and regulatory environments
•    Proven experience creating a Research and Development business units for Behavioral Health.
•    Proven ability to successfully manage large budgets with multiple programs and departments
•    Expertise in specialized network provider creation and development
•    Proven track record in revenue generation
•    Coordination and maintenance of relationships with HMOs and outside providers
•    Proven experience in negotiating contractual arrangements with medical providers, including physicians groups, IPA’s, hospitals and ancillary services.
•    Successful Regional Center or local government contracting and growth of Medicare network
•    Communicating with Regional Centers and local government organizations regarding clients and services.
•    Attending and presenting at yearly ABA-related conferences in order to remain current with research and issues related to the field.

Our client is authorized to delegate to the VP of Clinical Services additional functions to those listed above including, but not limited to the collaboration and development of new revenue streams, creation and submission of possible Request for Proposals, as well as new Program Designs.

Qualifications:

•    8+ years working in a Senior Management role in a Behavioral Health  setting developing and implementing National programs.
•    Superior Quantitative and Qualitative analysis skills
•    Exceptional Interpersonal and Writing Skills
•    Deep domain knowledge of health plan programs, products, service and industry trends
•    Experience in successful recruitment of group providers on a National Level
•    Doctorate in Psychology or related discipline
•    BCBA Certified (Current licensure)
