Territory Account Manager – ASP – Mobility Software


 


Our client is a leader in enterprise wireless handheld computing software and services. They deliver critical corporate information to the handhelds users choose, over the networks they prefer. Their solutions extend enterprise applications - including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Intranets and web-enabled corporate applications - to mobile employees when and where they need them, using end-to-end security & encryption as well as 100% cradle-free, real-time two-way wireless synchronization.


 


Thousands of enterprise customers use their products to empower their mobile professionals to communicate more efficiently with customers, suppliers, and partners whenever they’re away from their desks. And they do this through the support of leading enterprise-class handhelds and smartphones that use Windows Mobile, Palm, Symbian, Android, and now Apple OSX (iphone) operating systems.


 


They are looking for Top Sales Producers ONLY-- $200K to $300K in Annual Earnings

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations


 



  • Maximizes revenues through high volume of account sales in designated geography across all verticals.

  • Operates under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent judgment.

  • Job typically requires high level of travel.

  • Achieve the region’s targeted customer growth and revenue targets to ensure a profitable business for the company

  • Develop and manage complete list of installed base accounts in region, as well as targeted prospective accounts.

  • Must be proficient in developing account strategies, cold calling, creating customer relationships, and accelerating engagements to open new accounts, and close enterprise license agreements

  • Oversee key channel partnerships in region, specifically with regional carrier operator sales teams.

  • Relationships lead to co-sell engagements on shared account lists

  • Close cooperation with outsourced renewals team and lead generation teams, as well as Strategic Account team as accounts grow

  • Must be able to perform sales presentations via Webex and in person

  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients, over the phone and in person


 


Geography Covered: US Territories


Base Cities: We have 6 immediate openings:  Dallas, Philadelphia, Boston, Columbus, Los Angeles, Washington D.C.


 


Relocation: No


Travel Requirements: 50%


 


Base Salary: $115,000


Total Compensation: $220,000


 


Desired Education: College Degree -- 4 yrs


Desired Experience: 7 Years


Desired Specialty Background: IT Sales


 


Basic Qualifications 


 



  • A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution PLUS a minimum of five years enterprise sales experience.


 


Required Knowledge/Skills:


 



  • Proven strong sales and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and remotely

  • Deep understanding of the enterprise market space

  • Understanding of the mobile operator business

  • Public speaking experience

  • Proven ability to conduct business at all levels within enterprise organizations from the senior executives and line of business leaders to various roles within IT

  • Knowledge of wireless/mobile landscape a plus (vendors, devices, carriers, security, etc.)

  • Knowledge of software applications a plus (vendors, development process, architecture, etc.)
