Leading global digital media company is seeking a Senior Advertising Sales Manager for their West Coast offices (based in Los Angeles).  Must have 5+ years of prior successful experience selling in the interactive/digital media world.  Must be a top revenue producer.  Strong bilingual preference (English & Spanish).  Base pay, unlimited commission potential, discretionary bonus & great employee benefits package.  Company has a reputation for being a great place to work.


 


 


 


Summary


 


Senior level position; main responsibilities will be to prospect, develop, close and maintain strategic advertising/sponsorship accounts.


 


 


 


Responsibilities


 





  • Prospect, develop, close, and maintain strategic advertising/sponsorship accounts.



  • Accountable for attaining targeted sales/quotas for both U.S. to U.S. Hispanic sales and U.S. to Latin America online sales.



  • Develop new business from direct clients and ad agencies and increase share of budget for existing business.



  • Frequent travel required for the development of new and existing business.



  • Other duties as assigned relating to functions and responsibilities within the scope of the business.




 


 


 


Requirements


 





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field



  • 3 or more years related media advertising sales experience.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office application



  • Strong knowledge of online/interactive advertising sales. 



  • Knowledge of comScore Media Metrix, Neilsen/NetRatings, Evaliant, AdRelevance, Simmons, @plan and other online research tools.



  • Internet Savvy



  • Proven ad sales success from both direct clients and ad agencies



  • Solid knowledge of online/interactive advertising sales



  • Strong client contacts/data



  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications



  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills



  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment



  • Results oriented, tenacious, determined, accountable, and creative



  • Persistently demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude



  • Passionate commitment to customer satisfaction



  • Ability to travel frequently



  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
