Description

We are currently seeking Nurse Coordinators with infertility treatment experience to join our team. As a Fertility Nurse you will have the opportunity to work with a group of energetic, fun and team oriented nurses. Teamwork, along with placing our patients first, is of our highest priority! This is an exciting position in a fast paced, ever changing field.

General Duties include: Patient initial visit and counseling. IVF procedure teaching and scheduling of treatment. Cycling visits including: medication instruction (schedule, dosage and administration), anticipatory guidance, clarification of physician instructions. Phone triage: accepts/makes phone calls regarding patient medication, treatment plans, and other general fertility questions. Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions as permitted. Maintains patient charting, testing, and flow sheets.

An ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in infertility treatment, valid RN license, excellent time management and organizational skills. This position requires independent judgment as well as the ability to work closely with a team of nurses and physicians. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and physicians; quick learner; capable of multi-tasking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; computer and telephone skills required.

This is a full-time position (around 40 hours/week) including a weekend/holiday rotation. Additional details to be discussed at the time of interview. We offer competitive salary and complete benefits package.
