The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed International Project Engineer for a Large International Food Manufacturing Company.


 


Position Summary:


 


In this leadership role you will be accountable for obtaining business results by leading cross-functional teams in the development and execution of major capital projects to meet strategic objectives.  This position will work primarily with a plant located in Germany.


 


Position Responsibilities:




  • Project and team development - establishing required project team, the business rationale and technical requirements to successfully execute assigned projects.



  • Leading project teams to accomplish project scope within the constraints of time, cost and performance through the use of Project Management Process (DMADV / PMBOK). 


  • Establishing and executing comprehensive communication to project sponsors engineering leadership and the project team regarding project status, including known or anticipated variances to the project cost, schedule, scope and performance plans. 




  • Responsibility for educating and improving team members in the Project Management process (DMADV). 




  • Providing day-to-day leadership and interaction with outside vendors and contractors to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and timelines. 




  • Working closely with all cross-functional disciplines to accomplish necessary work packages within time, cost and performance. 




  • Monitoring projects with the overall company objectives in mind in addition to detailed project requirements.




Position Requirements:



  • A 4-Year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering and project management. 


  • Experience in infrastructure construction/renovation. 




  • Food processing/manufacturing background REQUIRED. 




  • Packaging experience. 




  • Ability to lead in a team environment. 




  • Ability to manage others to deliver multiple concurrent projects. 




  • Understanding and application of project management tools and processes, such as DMADV or Six Sigma process/methodology. 




  • Superior communication skills - both verbal and written. 




  • A developed sense of anticipating questions and organizational concerns. 




  • Ability to build internal/external network to achieve goals. 




  • Excellent understanding of costs/financials. 




  • Ability to thrive in a team environment. 




  • End user computer skills. 



  • Desire to grow and take on new challenges and opportunities.

  • Ability to speak German is preferred, but NOT required.

  • Ability to speak English required.

REQUIREMENTS:


 


Qualified Candidates for the International Project Engineer position MUST HAVE a 4-Year BS Degree in an Engineering discipline with at least 5-7 years of current Project Engineering experience from within a Food Manufacturing environment.  Candidates MUST HAVE experience with infrastructure construction/renovations for a Food Processing/Manufacturing Facility.  Candidates also MUST HAVE International Engineering experience with Capital Projects to be considered.  Candidates with current or past experience in Germany are highly desired, however this is not a requirement.  Qualified Candidates should send a Word and/or Adobe attached copy of their resume.
