Description

The Director Project Development will assume full responsibility for Bio-Energy projects in North America and Internationally from conception to financial close. You will be involved with early stage engineering and joint development projects in various stages of development using a phase gate approach. You will function as a General Manager to coordinate the entire project including site acquisition, permitting, licensing, feedstock agreements and financial structure.

 The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years related project development experience with a refinery, power producer, utility, urban waste processing, chemical manufacturing, alternative fuels, wind, solar, engineering firm, liquid natural gas (LNG) producer, oil & gas company or other highly complex industrial process application.  

 We seek well-rounded individual with a degree in engineering or other relevant technical discipline with an advanced degree in engineering, economics, finance or MBA. Must have a demonstrated track record of successful projects of at least $250M in size where you acted as the principal developer. We desire individuals with strong financial acumen, superior problem solving skills, broad interdisciplinary work experience and excellent communication skills. Travel is expected to be 50%.
